What Is Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)?

What Happens During My Procedure?

Prior to treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied for about 30 to 40 minutes. Once the area is numb, the cream is removed and the skin is prepped for treatment. The microneedling procedure itself takes about 20 minutes to complete.

To develop a PRF preparation, blood is drawn from the patient. The sample is placed in a sterile chamber and spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the other blood cells. PRF is then topically applied during your microneedling procedure.
